Okay, so can some one give me some good summer recipes for kids. So far i have fudge and rock candy. Im thinking more stuff thats NOT good for you. Just treat. Not like they would be eating it every day. Simple easy one’s would be great. Thanks!

I’m making a presentation to elementary kids about Leonardo da Vinci and would like to get them involved by having them tackle an engineering challenge. I would like it to be able to be completed in 30 minutes or less due to time constraints. It should be VERY basic but should also promote innovation. Thanks.

Have each pair of kids build a house of cards to support a book.
Assign points for a 1-story “house”, and more points for a 2-story or higher “house”.
They learn teamwork by working in pairs, along with being surprised that lightweight playing cards, placed on edge, can support considerable weight without glue or fasteners.
