Question by Superclerk: How can I explain to kids the difference between nudity as art versus nudity as sexy or shameful?
I’m trying to expose my kids to classic art, and they get grossed out at the nudes like Michelangelo’s David, etc. How can I get them to appreciate nudity in art instead of seeing nudity only as sexy or shameful?
Also, how could I explain this to kids in a Girl Scouts troop who come from religiously conservative families?

I was told as a young child that being nude is as natural as eating or drinking. Hope this helps. Just don’t make a big deal about it.
