Old animation I did in August 2008, back when I was really into TF2. Someone asked me to put it on Youtube because they couldn’t watch it in its native Flash, and I was surprised that I didn’t already have it up here in its entirety. Original Flash: tristikov.deviantart.com I had originally planned on featuring the other classes at least in background roles, but since they weren’t critical to the story and making a character takes a fair amount of work, they had to be dropped so that the project would be completed on time. Disclaimers from the original post: *Note: my depiction of Pyro Jr. with a caucasian skin and wearing what may be seen as male clothing does not represent what I think Pyro looks like under his/her suit. It was merely an artistic choice. I had some other nit-picky type things to mention in regards to game accuracy, but I can’t recall what they were at present. I hope Pyro’s’ identity is never revealed because if it was it would ruin his/her identity as PYRO. The mask IS Pyro. Art and animation are all by me, character design is based off of the regular TF2 models, just kiddie-fied. Team Fortress 2 is (C) Valve, blah blah blah I don’t own it, the two piece of music used are also (C) Valve.

Their days are filled with more detailed learning and more structured circle time. They are ready to learn basic writing coloring and cutting. They love their computers. Beginning computer skills and mouse skills are encouraged. Curriculum includes the introduction of LEAP (Learning Experience Academic Program). Once a week they work on their “My Little Leap Books” which introduce academic skills in preparation for preschool. Days are filled with a balance of activities, both quiet, and active. Music, movement, art, science and an array of developmentally appropriate activities make for a day filled with fun and learning. Playground time twice a day if weather permits. Lunch is more social then at the earlier stages and is followed by a nice quiet nap with soothing music and backrubs.

This nursery rhymes video puts a new spin on the classics to make favorite rhymes come alive. Brother and Sister Goose join Mother Goose to present 43 rhymes using upbeat, pop-style music sung to traditional and new melodies. The playful geese lead kids through each rhyme, teaching them about being safe, using manners, and accepting responsibility. “I have a two-year-old daughter and one of our favorite things to do in the car on the way to and from daycare is sing nursery rhymes together. It’s been about a ten year stretch between singing nursery rhymes (used to do it all the time when I baby sat), so remembering the words to all the classic nursery rhymes is a challenge. Insert the Rock ‘N Learn Nursery Rhyme DVD. I actually won this item through a contest hosted by smartypantsmama. When we got home I popped it into the DVD player as a substitute for our normal afternoon show, Yo Gabba Gabba. The graphics are very animated and kid-friendly. In addition to nursery rhymes there are also songs and lessons about safety. My Little Princess Pea was totally engrossed with the songs that she had heard before, the others she watched with curiosity. The musical is not loud and outlandish like most children’s shows today- it is very soothing- as nursery rhymes should be. While the recommended age is 3-5 years, my friend’s 6 month old twins were mesmerized by the show and the gentle tunes. I would definitely recommend this DVD to parents with children age 4 and under …
